Editorial policy
How we write and check a guide.
The aim is a useful explanation you can act on, with enough context to understand its limits.
Follow a link when you need the detail
For taxes, location requirements, platform permissions, and other rules, we look for guidance from the organization responsible. You’ll find the link beside the explanation it supports.
The checked date records the most recent source review. Rules and product features can change afterward, so check the linked guidance again before relying on it for a decision. We keep internal notes about what we verified and what would call for another review.
Examples must be recognizable as examples
A hypothetical offer can make a decision easier to understand. It doesn’t prove there is demand, establish a market price, or describe a client we have interviewed. Practice work should be labeled, and public samples need permission.
We don’t invent owner stories, staff credentials, customer quotes, revenue numbers, or test results. Stock photographs illustrate the work; they don’t depict featured founders or clients. Photo credits identify the source and license.
How AI tools were used
AI tools helped with research, drafting, and building the site. Facts still need to be checked against sources, and the publication owner is responsible for reviewing the content before release.
The guides use the organizational byline BizSolo Editorial. They are general explanations. If an article has been reviewed by a licensed professional, that person and their role need to be identified.
Commercial relationships
There are no paid placements or affiliate links in this launch collection. If an article includes sponsorship or an affiliate relationship in future, the disclosure should appear where you encounter it. A commercial relationship needs to be clear when you’re deciding how much weight to give a recommendation.
Corrections need a clear record
When a substantive mistake is corrected, the article should explain what changed and update its checked date. Small spelling and formatting changes do not need a correction note. Use the corrections page to report a possible error with the article link and relevant evidence.
Your tool entries stay with you
The offer worksheet, project calculator, and AI observation record run on the page. They don’t send or save your entries. Print a copy before leaving or reloading. No account is needed, and this site doesn’t use an analytics script.
If you email the publication, include only what is needed for the question. Don’t send passwords, client records, or sensitive personal information.
